Rock walls

Types of engineered rock walls we can build with you.
Allan Block Walls
Allan Block retaining wall products are available in a choice of styles, allowing you to choose the right one for your design needs. Build a basic gravity wall system for smaller projects, or use geogrid for reinforcement, allowing taller projects to be built.
Boulder Retaining Walls
Another option for a natural dry stone retaining wall is to use boulders to hold back soil. The weight of the boulders provides stability. Boulders make excellent building material because they are resistant to weather, erosion, and salt degradation.
Slope Stabilization
Gabion basket retaining wall systems use gravity mass structures that can be used for erosion control, slope protection, and site stability. They are an affordable option for a retaining wall, made from wire cages filled with rocks or crushed concrete.

Benefits of Adding Stone Walls to Your Landscaping

Making stone walls a part of your landscaping can have a tremendous visual and functional effect on your property. They can be added in many different ways, allowing you to express your creativity and can benefit you in many ways, including:

Defining Outdoor Spaces

Much like indoor walls, stone walls on your property can be used to create distinct spaces that can be used for different functions. For example, you may create one area as a patio and another as an outdoor kitchen. Play areas for the kids are possible, or you might delineate a specific part of the property for a pool. You can also use stone walls to highlight certain areas, calling attention to spaces that you want to be noticed.

Expanding Your Garden

You can gain more space for gardening by using stone walls. If your land is very uneven, for example, use a stone retaining wall to help even it out and make it level. This can create a more functional area for your gardening use. Stone walls are also useful for directing or blocking sunlight.

Preventing Soil Erosion

Much like indoor walls, stone walls on your property can be used to create distinct spaces that can be used for different functions.
